The following day, during the 2014 Sony Experience in Las Vegas, it was formally unveiled and stated to have been developed solely again for PlayStation 4 and Pc.Despite claims in development, the game that's been previously announced for Linux through the use of SteamOS never saw a release. [16] [17] Via Proton, Valve's Steam Deck running SteamOS 3.0 can run Mortal Kombat V on Windows. [18] The videogame has pass gameplay and was created with Unreal 4. [19] [20] [2] Sony selected "Survivor" by Man with a Mission as the image song.

The creative relationship between Sony Interactive Entertainment and Capcom prevented the game from being released on any other platforms, the company further explained on June 12, 2015.
